Blog is finally up and running!
Finally, after a few months sailing, the blog is up and running. Better late than never I guess!

Today is October 21st, and we are in Les Sables-d’Olonne, France.
Here we lie safely moored in Port Olona along with around 1,500 other boats, large and small. We are in what is a mecca for sailing, where several major regattas have their start and finish, including the Vendée Globe and the Golden Globe Race. In addition, you can find several of the modern IMOCA boats in the harbour. We have of course been on a sightseeing tour and got to see a couple of IMOCA boats up close, as well as other boats used in round-the-world races.
We have been talking for a long time about starting a blog, but time and energy haven’t stretched far enough in recent months, and suddenly yet another month has gone by! Now the time has finally come to get the blog up and running, and we hope that you who are reading this will appreciate these travel letters from life aboard Escape.
Our idea is to share our experiences aboard Escape as we continue south along the European coast. Being able to share these experiences with you who follow us on social media is fun and something we really appreciate. With these travel letters, we hope to share a bit more of the stories behind all the pictures and videos.
Going forward, we aim to share travel letters regularly with our readers, and we are also working on setting up email notifications for those who are interested.
Fair winds,
Morten, Lisbeth, Oliver & Lille ⛵
